Zero Turn Mower Raffle

A huge thank you to D.W. Ogg Equipment Company for their generous gift of a zero-turn mower and for hosting our LIVE raffle! Congratulations to our winner, Gail Pearson, who kindly donated the $5,000 value back to support our Blue-Collar Project Foundation’s mission to educate and advocate for the next generation of trades.

Pack the Park

What a great night spent with fellow Blue-Collar Project supporters. My Brother was able to join in throwing out the first pitch. We were able to meet a lot of new faces who stopped by our table, cheer on our hometown Frederick Keys and wrap up the night with an awesome fireworks display. Nothing more American Blue-Collar than a night of baseball, hot dogs, friends and family.

Second Annual Blue-Collar Project Golf Classic

In True Blue-Collar Fashion everyone showed up to our sold-out golf classic in spite of some rain. It was a great day of golf, networking, drinks, (lots of drinks, thanks to Scotty’s Vodka and Big Truck Beer) food and fun.

The Morning started with Breakfast, Bloody Mary’s, some coffee and networking. Then we tee-ed off for a great round of golf with lots of contests, games and cocktails. We finished the day back at the club house for a great dinner, awards ceremony, raffles and door prizes.   

A heart felt thank you to all our Sponsors, Donors, Players and Volunteers. With out them this wouldn’t be near as much fun.

Second Annual Dinner And Whiskey Tasting

November 2023 / Hosted by The Red Horse Steakhouse

Back by popular demand, our annual Whiskey Tasting dinner was another sold out success.

We tasted 6 + hard to find and unique whiskeys, paired with a four-course meal. The first pour was served with a welcoming charcuterie and some mingling. Followed by bacon wrapped jalapeno appetizer, a surf & turf dinner and a chocolate cake desert. Each paired with a carefully selected whiskey. Following dinner, we wrapped up the evening with door prizes, raffles and a very interactive auction.

Once again, a sincere thanks to all our sponsors, participants, volunteers and donors. I am continually humbled by their incredible support.

Summer Social at Spring Cove Marina

A beautiful day by the water filled with live music, good brews, Sweet Blue Smoke’s BBQ, silent auctions, and lots of door prizes.

Thanks to Big Truck Brewery, Sweet Blue Smoke BBQ, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka for providing delicious food and great drinks! A big shoutout to Spring Cove Marina for hosting the event.

The Blue-Collar Project would also like to thank the local business for their kind donations, the members of Spring Cove Marina for coming out in support, and our volunteers for making the event possible. A portion of the proceeds from our Summer Social went towards a scholarship to Blades School of Hair Design for Yesenia Barragan.
