Our Impact

Zach Thompson

Zach is a graduate of Brunswick High School, Frederick County Career & Technology Center in Automotive Mechanics and a member of 4-H for 10 years. He will be attending University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, Ohio where he will be studying Agricultural Mechanics. He is excited about being able to pursue his passion for mechanics while remaining involved in the agricultural community.

2024 UPDATE: Zach has completed his first year of classes with a GPA of 3.33. He completed courses including Combines, Equipment Electronics, Hydraulics, Drive trains and more. He is looking forward to next year with classes in Welding, Diesel Diagnostics and Electronics.

Zach is looking forward to completing next year’s classes and bringing his new knowledge into the workforce. Thanks to your continuous support, we will be awarding him another scholarship to help cover books and equipment cost for next year’s classes.


Yesenia Barrgan

Yasenia was awarded a Blue-Collar Project scholarship to help pay student loans to cosmetology school. She has graduated and is currently working in a salon. Her goal is to one day have her own small salon. What she enjoys most about cosmetology is making people feel confident about how they look and feel good about themselves.
