Frederick County High School Career and Tech Center
As valuable as the Career and Tech Center is, it is under budgeted. On two separate occasions we were able and happy to support FCHS Career and Tech Center’s Agricultural / Landscape Program.
On our first opportunity we were able to partner with Tractor Supply Co. of Frederick to provide them with needed tools. On another occasion we partnered with Frederick County Young Farmers to provide needed straw bales. The bales will be stacked around their bee hives to protect them from the winter weather. Then in the spring, the straw will be used as mulch to cover the seeded lawn on the CTC house project.
FCHS Senior’s Job Fair
We took the opportunity to set up a booth at the Frederick County High School senior’s job fair. It was great to meet and share information on career opportunities in the trades with young adults.
